However, I’m only sixteen and live with my parents. That makes making my own food dicisions a bit difficult.
This blog lets me keep track of recipes I’d like to make in the future.
Every Wednesday and Friday I’ll post new recipes that I’ve found on different food sites. All other days will be pictures of delicious food.

&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;2 eggs&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;1/3 cup vegetable oil&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;____&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Preheat oven to 350.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Mix everything together and scoop heaping spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Bake for 9-11 minutes.  Let cool for 1-2 minutes before removing to a wire rack.  Let cook completely before frosting.  Cookies should be soft so make sure you don’t over-bake.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

Lots of white residue will be left, filter this out using a coffee filter or similar. Depending how viscous it is you may have to repeat this step.&lt;br/&gt;5. Chill (in freezer) and serve.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;2 cups fresh cranberries, picked over, washed and drained &lt;span class="tooltip"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 cup half and half &lt;span class="tooltip"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 stick unsalted butter &lt;span class="tooltip"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 cup sugar &lt;span class="tooltip"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1 teaspoon vanilla extract  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Directions&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Gently fold together all of the ingredients through the cranberries in the order listed. Pour into a greased mold (I used a Bundt pan), and tightly wrap with several layers of foil so no water sneaks into the pudding.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Put a steamer basket in a large pot and fill the pot with an inch or so of water. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat so the water is barely simmering. Rest the pudding on top of the steamer basket and cover the pot snugly with a lid. Steam without uncovering the pot for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, until the pudding is cooked through but not totally dry. (A cake tester should come out sticky, but not wet.)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;span class="tooltip"&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To make the sauce: combine the half-and-half, butter, sugar and salt in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar and butter are melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Serve the sauce warm over the warm pudding.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 tablespoons olive oil&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 pork tenderloins (about 1¼ pounds each)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 tablespoons canola oil (if preparing in oven)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Oven preparation:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Preheat oven to 400 degrees.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Heat canola oil in a large, heavy saute pan over medium-high heat.  Working in batches if necessary, add pork, and brown all over, about 4 minutes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Transfer pan to oven. Roast pork, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature is 160 degrees, about 20 minutes. Transfer pork to a cutting board, and try to let it rest 10 minutes before slicing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;7/29 - mocha dulce de leche from a bakery inside a Mexican grocery store, $2 (I think).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This was too sweet, but quite delicious otherwise. I shared it with my friend Amanda (who also took this photo) after a shoot for a contest. The cake had kind of an odd cardboard-y taste to it, but the whipped cream and sweet milk made up for it. Amanda ate the strawberry and I ate the majority of the Oreo.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt; Oh hai photo. And to add to it, that was the first time I had the mocha variation of this dessert. Typically, its made with a very milky vanilla cake and rich cream making it extremely sweet. The chocolate however was a very delicious and different variation. But i can’t deny the sugar coma after it :3&lt;/p&gt;
